In response to a consent order from the Federal Reserve and the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC), the Bank and its affiliates created the RDAR program to revamp how data was collected, organized, stored, managed, protected, analyzed, communicated, and consumed throughout the enterprise. The scope of the program included the end-to-end analysis and transformation of data across the enterprise. The results of the program were shared with the Federal Reserve and OCC in quarterly updates.

 

  • Horizon acted as one of the PM in the office that coordinated and synthesized this work across the inter-disciplinary business and technology organizations.
  • Within the IT domain, Horizon supported the team that lead the data governance program – ensuring that data was fit for purpose.
  • Horizon supported the team that analyzed the implications of the new standards across the existing IT landscape, resulting in the creation of the IT applications & Integration Blueprint.

  • Successfully managed Platform OS Remediation Assessment, Upgrade & Migration project to extend the life of a critical billing system whose platform was at the end of life and out of vendor support. The successful completion of this project allowed this mission critical system to continue to operate an additional five (5) years in support saving the company $5 million in upgrade costs as well as avoiding a potential system crash on an environment that was out of support.
  • Successfully managed application migration from a physical to virtual environment. This migration also included a platform upgrade from Windows Server 2003 to Windows Server 2012. The successful completion of this initiative allowed mission critical systems to continue processing customer facing, revenue generating projects.
  • Successfully managed initiative to consolidate and standardize the Commercial product invoice across multiple lines of business.

  • Created Functional Design documents identifying requirements & processes for converted legacy data and integrating data from third party systems
